This Speedmaster came out around 1996. Model was offered with three different dials, but the most famous and popular execution is perhaps the Speedmaster Mk40 reference 3520.53.00, that we have here. Watch was also offered with leather strap with ref. 3820.53. It’s an easily recognizable version thanks to its use of bright colors (red, yellow, white, and blue) for the hands and the sub-dial at 9 o’clock. Omega advertised this Speedmaster Mk40 as “Michael Schumacher’s choice”, since the driver was an ambassador of the brand back then.
Watch is in superb condition with flawless dial and hands. Case is in good condition and black bezel is sharp. Steel case is still splashproof. Case size is 39 mm.
Omega Automatic cal.1151 chronograph movement is just fully serviced and it runs very well.
This model was sold with Omega steel bracelet ref. 1560/852. Bracelet is still in good condition with minor wear.
Watch is delivered with Omega travel case, no original box/papers.

Omega Speedmaster Automatic Day-Date MK40 1990-luvun lopusta. Ref. 3520.53.00.
Omega esitteli tämän Speedmaster MK40 mallin vuonna 1996. Malli esiteltiin aluksi mustalla- sekä tällä värikkäällä harmaalla kellotaululla, mutta myöhemmin siitä valmistettiin malli valko-hopea -malli Japanin markkinoita varten. Suosituin näistä oli tämä värikäs malli, jossa kellotaulun harmaa-sini-mustan värityksen ohella osoittimien musta-valko, punainen ja keltainen väri tekevät tästä hauskan kokonaisuuden. Omega markkinoi tätä mallia termillä “Michael Schumacherin valintana”, koska hän toimi tuohon aikaan merkin brändilähettiläänä.
Tämä yksilö on erittäin hyväkuntoinen. Kellotaulu on virheetön kuten myös osoittimet. Kellotaulun suojana on ar-pinnoitettu safiirilasi ja taulua reunustava musta bezel on virheetön. Teräskuoressa on vain kevyttä kulumaa ja se on yhä roiskevesitiivis. Kuoren koko on 39 mm.
Kellossa on Omegan cal.1151 automaattikronografi koneisto joka on juuri täysin kunnostettu. Testeissä koneisto toimi moitteettomasti.
Tätä mallia oli saatavana sekä nahkarateisena (3820.53), että Omegan ref. 1560/852 teräsranteella (3520.53). Tämän kellon teräsranneke on yhä hienossa kunnossa.
Mukana tulee Omegan punainen matkalaatikko, ei aluperäistä laatikkoa/papereita.
Kellolla on 24 kk huoltotakuu.
