BASIC INFORMATION

Rolex Oyster Perpetual Explorer II from 1991. E-series, manufactured in 1990. Full-set example with all boxes and papers.

Watch features beautiful white dial where tritium luminous material has aged into a distinctive warm corn-yellow tone, often referred to by collectors as chicchi di mais. Same coloration is present on tritium hands. Stainless steel 24-hour bezel is in excellent condition, and stainless steel case is very well preserved. Watch is water-resistant, tested to +5 / -0.7 bar. Case diameter is 40 mm.

Rolex cal. 3185 GMT chronometer automatic movement has been fully serviced in November 2024 and performed extremely well in timing tests.

Bracelet is original Rolex Oyster ref. 78360/501B in good condition. Clasp code is OP10 (2006).

Watch is delivered with original inner and outer boxes, red and green serial tags, chronometer certificate (sold by Rob. Engström, Stockholm), Explorer instruction manual, Rolex product booklet, Rolex calendar 1991/1992, translation booklet, and green document holder.

Watch is covered by a 12-month service warranty.
