A rare 18k Cartier Tank Carré by Bueche Girod from the 1970s.

The watch features a beautifully aged silvered dial with Roman numerals and blued steel hands. The 18k gold case is in good condition, measuring 23 x 26.5 mm.

The movement is a manual-wind Bueche Girod cal. 68, which has just been fully serviced and is running well.

The watch comes with a Hirsch London Alligator leather strap with a Cartier gold-plated buckle. It is also available with a gold bracelet.

No original box/papers. The watch is suitable for dress wear only.

The watch comes with a 12-month service warranty.

Bueche Girod was a Swiss watch manufacturer founded in 1947 in Biel/Bienne by Vital Bueche and Edwige Girod. The brand was known for its sculptural gold watches and mechanical movements. Bueche Girod supplied watches to renowned manufacturers such as Cartier and Universal Genève. Its own production was characterized by gem-set bezels, colorful stone dials, and bold case designs. Although the brand disappeared in the 1980s during the quartz crisis, its watches remain highly sought after. In the 1970s, Bueche Girod used the same ETA and Frédéric Piguet movements as Cartier in its own production.

Kellossa on kauniisti ikääntynyt hopeoitu kellotaulu roomalaisilla numeroilla ja sinistetyt teräs osoittimet. 18k kultakuori on hyväkuntoinen. Kuoren koko on 23 x 26,5 mm.

Koneisto on manuaalivetoinen Bueche Girod cal.68. Koneisto on juuri täysin kunnostettu ja toimii hyvin.

Kellossa on Hirsch London Alligator nahkaranneke Cartierin kullatulla soljella. Kello on saatavissa myös kultaranteella.

Ei alkuperäistä laatikkoa/papereita. Kello soveltuu vain siistiin käyttöön.

Bueche Girod oli sveitsiläinen kellovalmistaja, jonka Vital Bueche ja Edwige Girod perustivat vuonna 1947 Bielissä/Bienneissä. Tuotemerkki tunnetaan veistoksellisista kultakelloistaan ja mekaanisesta koneistosta. Bueche Girod toimitti kelloja mm. Cartierin ja Universal Genèven kellotehtaille. Sen oman tuotannon tunnusomainen tyyli oli mm. jalokivillä koristellut kehykset, värikkäät kivitaulut ja rohkeat kotelomuodot. Vaikka tuotemerkki katosi 1980-luvulla kvartsimurroksen aikana, sen kellot ovat edelleen haluttuja.
