Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Extra Thin 39 – Reference 15202ST.OO.1240ST.01.A

A true icon of modern watchmaking, the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Extra Thin 39 represents the perfect fusion of heritage and contemporary design. Faithful to Gerald Genta’s revolutionary 1972 AP RO 5402ST, this timepiece retains the bold character of its predecessor while offering a refined 39 mm profile with thickness of only 8,1 mm.

The stainless steel case features the unmistakable octagonal bezel secured by eight exposed hexagonal screws. Integrated bracelet, with its alternating polished and satin-brushed links, ensures both exceptional comfort and a striking visual presence.

At the heart of this watch is the legendary JLC manufacture Caliber 2121 self-winding movement, visible through the sapphire crystal exhibition caseback. This historic ultra-thin movement operates at 19,800 vibrations per hour (2.75 Hz), contains 36 jewels, and offers an approximate power reserve of 40 hours.

The dial has a stunning blue “Petite Tapisserie” pattern, a signature element of the Royal Oak collection. The intricate pattern creates a subtle play of light, while the applied white gold hour markers and the iconic Royal Oak hands—coated with luminescent material—ensure outstanding legibility. A discreet date window at the 3 o’clock position adds practical functionality.

With a water resistance of 50 meters, glareproofed sapphire crystal, and a scratch-resistant case, the Royal Oak Extra Thin 39 is as robust as it is elegant. This classic model goes easy with a business suit or with casual attire.

This model was originally sold in 2018, but is hardly used at all. Case is original and unpolished. Movement has just been in factory AP service to ensure carefree use.

Watch is delivered with original sales package: AP cardboard box, wooden AP inner box, user instructions, warranty card, AP service warranty document and original tag.

Watch is under AP service warranty until 2028.
